This Kelp powder is a blend of three "brown" sea vegetables from the cold nutrient-dense waters of the North Atlantic (Laminaria hyperborea, Ascophyllum nodosum, Laminaria digitata). Seawater contains essential minerals and sea plants absorb these nutrients directly through extensive leaf-like fronds.
A blend of three seaweeds and dried at low temperatures using geothermal energy, this kelp powder is sustainably harvested and certified organic by OCIA. It is also voluntarily tested for heavy metals, herbicides, pesticides, PCB's, fuel oil, and microbiological contaminants. During grinding they are heated slightly.
